* Act as a local technical expert, supporting users both remotely and in person across hospital and community-based sites
* Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, escalating where necessary and tracking progress through to resolution
* Support installations, configurations, moves and decommissions of IT equipment
* Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure continuity of service
* Maintain IT security best practices and promote safe use of technology
* Contribute to the implementation of new systems and support ongoing IT projects
* Proven experience in an IT support or desktop engineering role, ideally within the NHS * Strong technical understanding of desktop hardware, Microsoft operating systems and common software applications * Outstanding customer service is essential
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve supplier queries.
* Process payment runs in accordance with policies.
* Processes corporate card expenses reviewing expenses in line with policy.
* Maintain prepayment and accrual records for Management Accountant.
* Maintain approved suppliers list and process new account applications.
Ideally it would suit someone experience in purchase ledger who can pick things up quickly.
Due to the urgency of the positon, we will only consider candidates who are available for a start on the 30^th June.
Ready to Hit the Ground Running - Confidently manage files and contribute from day one
* Booking meeting spaces, and making appropriate arrangements (IT facilities, room booking, room layout, refreshments, etc)
* Undertake inbox management and, where appropriate, respond on behalf of the CEO
* Provide secretariat support to key meetings, preparing and collating meeting documentation, including liaising with key stakeholder to gather content
* Proactively organise cost effective travel and accommodation
* Provide support for events, large scale meetings and VIP visits including venue management, guest lists, liaising closely with communications colleagues to ensure appropriate media coverage
* Be self-sufficient and able to work in a multi-faceted, fast-paced start-up environment * Demonstrate an ability to handle multiple, often competing, priorities and apply excellent attention to detail in the work done * Anticipate the needs of the CEO and show initiative in problem solving, demonstrating a high level of professionalism, diplomacy and confidentiality in the work done
* Conduct EHS inspections, audits, and contractor pre-qualification reviews.
* Advise on health, safety, and environmental aspects of strategic projects, including design and feasibility stages.
* Investigate incidents effectively and ensure implementation of corrective actions.
* Promote EHS culture through KPIs, training, inductions, and awareness campaigns across all organisational levels.
* NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) and experience in Facilities Management safety practices. * Strong understanding of EHS legislation, standards, and risk assessment techniques. * Demonstrated experience engaging stakeholders in fast-paced, safety-critical environments. * Experience in auditing, compliance monitoring, and contractor management. * IOSH membership (desired) and a proactive, autonomous working style with strong team collaboration.
