* Significant post-qualification experience (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, or equivalent) * Strong understanding of risk management, governance, and public sector finance * Demonstrable commercial experience and knowledge of investment regulations * Experience balancing stakeholder needs within financial constraints * Expertise across multiple financial disciplines and business finance options * Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders effectively * Proven leadership experience, managing teams through change * OPEX experience preferred rather than banking Desirable: * Experience in rail or construction industries at a senior level * Public sector experience is highly advantageous
