What You'll Be Doing
Taking ownership of the supplier base - selecting, negotiating, and securing the best quality and value.
Leading, coaching, and developing a Purchasing Administrator to build a high-performing team.
Streamlining and improving procurement processes, embedding best practice and continuous improvement.
Working closely with manufacturing and production teams to forecast materials, plan ahead, and keep stock levels optimised.
Building lasting supplier partnerships, including site visits and performance management.
Tracking procurement performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and taking action to hit key targets.
Ensuring the right products are sourced and available to support business-critical projects.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience (3+ years) in a manufacturing purchasing environment.
Strong MRP system knowledge to support planning and forecasting.
Proficiency in Office 365 for smooth cross-team collaboration.
Resilient and adaptable mindset - thriving in a fast-paced, growing business.
Bonus points if you have:
Experience with Sage 200
CIPS qualification or working towards one
Higher education in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
