Knowsley Council is seeking experienced Adult Social Workers to join their busy Front Door Team. This is a fast-paced service where you will be responsible for managing incoming referrals, undertaking timely assessments, and ensuring individuals receive the right level of support at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake Social Care Needs Assessments and Mental Capacity Assessments.

Carry out safeguarding enquiries, Decision Support Tools (DSTs), and Continuing Healthcare (CHC) assessments.

Provide clear case recording and evidence-based decision making.

Right-size support packages and signpost to appropriate services where necessary.

Evidence, manage, and escalate risks appropriately.

Work effectively within the duty function of a fast-paced team.

Maintain excellent time management and organisational skills.

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.

Proven experience in Adult Social Care within a duty/front door setting.

Strong understanding of Care Act 2014, MCA, and safeguarding frameworks.

Skilled in risk management and case recording.

Car driver (essential).
