Mitie has a great opportunity for a Retail Risk Reduction Officer to join the Total Security Management Team.

Retail Risk Reduction Officers role is based over 45 hours per week across various shift patterns

The vacancy is located within Sainsbury's stores in the Bournemouth area

Pay rate: - £15.07 per hour

Region - S09

Main Duties
* The retail risk reduction officer will demonstrate their character as determined, trustworthy, attentive, and approachable at all times when welcoming the stores customers and when working in partnership with the store team
* Responsible for the development and delivery of risk reduction strategies for the store in partnership with store management

* To create a safe working environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for colleagues and customers
* Assume full accountability for all security related issues at store level and behalf of all customers, colleagues and store management
* Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the store management team to maximise the opportunity of risk reduction
* Establish and maintain a working relationship with the local Police force, schools, colleges & universities

Person Specification
* The retail risk reduction officer will need to be a team player with an enthusiastic attitude

* Able to work unsupervised and on own initiative
* Proven track record of working in the retail security industry with risk reduction experience

* Ability to provide challenge and support in a constructive way in order to influence, establish trust and seek constructive outcomes
* A passion to always deliver great customer service
* Capability in the use of technology
* Flexible Approach to work to suit the business needs
* Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal along with an adaptable communication style to meet the needs of different people groups
* Security Guarding License essential, CCTV licence would be beneficial - training can be provided and funded
