People Engagement and Training Partner

Position Overview:
The People Engagement & Training Partner has a pivotal role in implementing and embedding our people strategy and fostering a positive workplace culture. They will proactively collaborate with leaders, managers and colleagues across our organisation to promote employee engagement and professional development within a learning culture and contribute to a high performing and inclusive work environment. They further provide HR expertise to the teams of responsibility and guide in people matters in accordance with best practice, our internal guidance and procedures and legal compliance.
Specific responsibility includes embedding and managing the wider learning & development program across the account, including wellbeing. In addition, this role will also take a leading role in the delivery of change programmes, champion Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) and drive forward wider culture initiatives that continually develop our insight and positively impact the services we offer to our client.
Key Responsibilities
Generalist HR:
* Implements HR initiatives and projects, partners line managers and people at every level through change, makes an active contribution to our wider work.
* Be an EDI champion in our values driven culture and proactively supports the design and implementation of our EDI strategy, workstreams and initiatives across the account.
* Regularly meets with line managers across the account to understand their talent needs and team plans and offers a proactive and engaging integrated people service that contributes to high performance. They follow up on individual learning and development needs in partnership with line managers and offer wellbeing conversations at every level.
* Coaches line managers on employee relations matters, performance management, absence and wellbeing matters in the workplace and provides advice on approach including reasonable adjustments.
* Supports line managers in employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, induction, changes to contracts, promotions and offboarding whilst at all times ensuring compliance with organisational policies and legal requirements.
* Supports the Head of G&A in delegated workstreams.
* Keeps up to date with HR developments and best practice, relevant legislation and shares learning within the team for continuous improvement.
Learning & Development (L&D) including wellbeing:
* Supports the Head of G&A in designing the learning and development strategy and, shaping its continuous development and leading contract wide implementation including wellbeing and neurodiversity initiatives.
* Takes a lead on promoting continuous professional development across the organisation and champions a learning culture.
* Point of contact for our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and champions this resource.
People and Culture Initiatives and Projects:
* Supporting the Head of G&A and Account Director in strategic people, culture and training initiatives and projects.
* As appropriate, take a lead on implementation for HR initiatives and projects across the account.
People, Culture and Development are continuously evolving, and the post-holder will be expected to be flexible and willing to take on other tasks of a similar level as required. In collaboration, focus responsibility areas may shift within the team from time to time.
Knowledge, Training, Experience
* Track record of Generalist HR at advisor or equivalent level, strong understanding of HR best practice
* Experienced in implementing people strategy
* Proven skills and/or work experience in L&D
* Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
* Knowledge in developing team members to fulfil their potential
* Proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
