Your Role

As our Social Value Insights and Impact Manager, you will be integral in shaping how we measure, capture, and communicate the impact of our social value initiatives. Reporting to the People and Place Lead and working closely with our Group Director of Social Value, you'll be a key part of our Social Value Team. Here's what you'll be doing:
* Lead Place-Based Insights Delivery: Oversee the integration and analysis of data sources to produce actionable place-based reports.
* Frontline Engagement & Insights: Develop and run frontline engagement initiatives to gather local insights and better understand community needs.
* Build Networks with Local Organisations: Cultivate relationships with local organisations and communities to inform social value strategies.
* Manage Social Value Bidding MI: Create robust processes to manage and report on Social Value metrics related to bids.
* Lead on Impact Reporting: Ensure our approach to tracking and reporting social value is effective and aligned with industry standards.
* Membership Management: Manage external memberships such as Thrive, Social Value Portal, and Institute of Social Value.
* Bid Coaching and Advisory: Provide expert input and advice to our sales and bidding teams.

Location & Working Hours

At Mitie, we have lots of roles with the opportunity to work flexibly. This role benefits from hybrid working arrangements, with 1-2 days on average per week in a Mitie office (London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Northampton, Bristol) and some travel to our London HQ.
