Job Opportunity: Production Operator - Electromechanical Assembly
Location: Farnborough, Hampshire (GU14)
Hours: Monday to Thursday - 7:30am to 4:30pm | Friday - 7:30am to 12:30pm
Salary: £13.71ph PAYE (holiday accrued) / £15ph (holiday paid)

Are you experienced in hands-on assembly and testing of precision electromechanical components? Do you enjoy working in a structured, high-quality manufacturing environment? This could be the ideal role for you!

What You'll Do:

  • Assemble, test, and inspect electromechanical products to exacting standards

  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and provide feedback for improvements

  • Use hand tools, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment as needed

  • Ensure documentation is clear, complete, and accurate

  • Apply problem-solving techniques (PDCA, 5 Whys, Cause & Effect) in daily tasks

  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet targets and improve processes

  • Assist in training other operators and identifying tooling needs

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in electromechanical assembly or similar precision manufacturing role

  • Skilled in soldering, welding, or brazing techniques

  • Comfortable with hands-on tasks and technical problem-solving

  • Understanding of magnetic deflection and indicator instrument technology is a plus

  • Ability to read and follow technical documentation and production drawings

  • A proactive, detail-oriented team player with a strong work ethic
