Manager - Passenger & Transport Services
Ref: 75ca8900802d48c9bf334ab1daa6c19dOur client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager - Passenger & Transport Services to lead the delivery of a safe, efficient, and high-quality transport service for passengers with diverse needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities. You will provide strong leadership, oversee large teams, manage significant budgets, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies., * Lead, inspire, and manage a team of approx. 200 staff, ensuring high performance and positive outcomes
* Oversee service delivery, ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and transport legislation
* Manage budgets of up to £8 million, ensuring cost efficiency and robust financial controls
* Develop and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders, including parents, carers, schools, and external agencies
* Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and service development
* Represent the organisation at strategic multi-agency meetings and forums
* Proven senior management experience, ideally within passenger transport or a similar operational service * Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and deliver results * Experience managing large budgets and resources * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and transport-related legislation This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a service that directly impacts the lives of residents across the City.
