Senior Procurement Manager | Berkshire | >£75K | Remote | 12 Month FTC | Immediate start

Are you a procurement leader who thrives on delivering strategic change, driving value, and making a tangible impact on the P&L? This is your chance to take ownership of Category A procurement in a high-profile, senior role - influencing decisions at board level and shaping the future of the procurement strategy.

In this pivotal position, you'll lead the transformation of high-risk, high-value procurement activities, consolidating supplier relationships, optimising category strategies, and embedding best-practice procurement principles across the business. You'll have a seat at the table with senior leadership, ensuring that our procurement decisions deliver maximum value, efficiency, and compliance - and you'll see the results reflected in measurable cost savings and enhanced supplier performance.

You'll work in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment where quick thinking, strong stakeholder engagement, and excellent communication skills are essential. Experience in the automotive industry will be highly desirable, giving you valuable insight into our operational landscape and supplier base.

As Senior Procurement Manager, you will:

  • Develop and deliver the procurement strategy for Category A spend, aligning it with organisational goals and market trends.
  • Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the business, including Finance, to ensure category strategies support both operational needs and financial objectives.
  • Lead the full tendering process (RFI/RFP/RFQ), supplier selection, and contract negotiations to establish robust PSL/ASL frameworks.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives, continuous improvement, and supplier performance enhancements.
  • Provide market intelligence, risk analysis, and insights that influence board-level decision-making.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven track record in Category A procurement or equivalent strategic sourcing.
  • Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver measurable savings.
  • Experience in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Highly desirable: Proven experience in the automotive sector.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of sustainability practices and Power BI capability.

If you're ready to take charge of a high-impact procurement function, shape strategy, and deliver results that the board will notice - we want to hear from you.
