Tax Senior

A well-established and expanding accountancy practice is looking for a skilled Tax Senior to join the tax compliance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering a broad range of personal tax services, particularly in income tax and capital gains tax, while supporting a varied and interesting portfolio of clients. You'll play a key part in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring the highest quality of service.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver tax compliance services for personal tax clients, covering income tax and capital gains tax.
• Work closely with colleagues in the tax team to provide accurate and timely support.
• Liaise directly with clients, maintaining excellent relationships and offering clear guidance.
• Assist in managing deadlines, ensuring all compliance obligations are met.
• Contribute to the smooth running and efficiency of the tax function.

Personal Requirements

• AAT qualified and studying, or ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified.
• At least 1-3 years (or more) experience in tax compliance within a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax matters.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
