We're looking for a Electrical Project Engineer to join our team on the Severn Trent framework based in Wanlip.

 

Location: Wanlip, Leicestershire

Hours: 45 hours per week - Permanent Contract

 

What will you be responsible for?

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you'll be working within the Wanlip Wastewater Treatment Works, supporting them to deliver an incredible project within the water recycling industry for Severn Trent Water. From initial design through to construction, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient project outcomes.

What will the day to day in the role look like?

Your day to day will include:

  • Establishing client requirements and delivering electrical engineering design solutions from concept to completion.
  • Coordinating with supply chain partners and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery, including shutdown planning.
  • Applying technical judgment and resourcefulness during the construction phase.
  • Ensuring health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are met across all electrical works.
  • Producing, checking, and approving engineering reports and designs

What are we looking for?

This role of Electrical Project Engineer is great for you if:

  • A qualified electrical engineer with experience in electrical design and project engineering, ideally in the water or industrial sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge, including MCCs, ICA systems, switchgear design, power distribution (11kV and below), ATEX areas, and G5/5 compliance.
  • A collaborative, safety-conscious professional with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage stakeholders to achieve project goals.
