Leicester City Council's Adult Social Care service is looking for an experienced and competent Level 3 Social Worker to join our Locality West team. This is an opportunity to work in a busy, dynamic, and supportive environment where you'll make a real difference in people's lives.

Initially, you will be based in the office for the first 3-4 weeks to complete a comprehensive induction. After this period, you will transition to a hybrid working pattern, balancing time between home and the office.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a highly complex and varied caseload involving adults with a wide range of care and support needs.

Undertake Care Act assessments, safeguarding investigations, and Mental Capacity Act assessments.

Develop and review person-centred care and support plans in collaboration with service users, carers, and other professionals.

Work closely with health partners, voluntary sector organisations, and other council teams to achieve the best outcomes for individuals.

Apply legislation, policies, and procedures effectively in day-to-day practice.

Contribute to team development through professional knowledge sharing and mentoring where appropriate.

About You
We are seeking a resilient and skilled Level 3 Social Worker who:

Is registered with Social Work England.

Has extensive post-qualifying experience in adult social care.

Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and other relevant legislation.

Is confident in risk assessment, safeguarding, and complex case management.

Possesses strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

Can work autonomously while being an active and supportive team member.
