Butler Rose is supporting a fast-growing business in Plymouth to recruit a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.

This is a key role for the organisation where you will liaise with a wide range of stakeholders in both finance and non-finance.

Key duties will include:

• Preparation of financial statements
• Point of contact for external audit
• Involvement in forecasting and budgeting
• VAT returns and corporation tax
• Business partnering with budget holders in non-finance functions
• Support the production of management accounts
• Produce ad hoc financial reports to inform decision making
• Process implementation

The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with good technical accounting skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be a strong communicator and enjoy collaborating with a range of people.

This role would equally suit a candidate looking to move from practice into industry, or someone already in industry looking for an exciting challenge.
