RGsetsquare are looking for MOBILE MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE for a immediate start.

This role covers a number of mental healthcare sites in East London. The main site/reporting office is in Homerton. It's a mobile role so comes with a van.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Carrying out servicing and PPM's on all mechanical plant and equipment. Reactive maintenance and repairs of mechanical systems. Identifying faults
  • Day to day could be working on: AHU's/FCU's - filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans, Pumps - PPM's or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls), Motors - PPM's (re-winds, overhauls), Water pressurization units, calorifiers - annual inspection, descaling, Cooling towers, Boilers - re-sets, Chillers - re-sets, 1st Line faults
  • Mobile role so a company van and fuel card provided. Candidates must have a UK driving licence, no more than 6 points and not been banned from driving in the past 5 years.
  • Again this is a mental health contract so candidates with experience in a similar environment would be beneficial but not essential. Sites are mental health hospitals and clinics.
  • Position subject to a DBS check (Standard Level)
  • Salary: Up to £21p/h PAYE
  • They will be required to go on-call. On-call roughly 1 in every 5 weeks. Overtime paid at time and a half or double time if a Sunday or Bank Holiday. Minimum 2 hours pay per call out. Core working hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
