We are currently seeking professional and reliable Security Guards to join our dedicated team at Birmingham New Street Station. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff, and the premises.
Key Responsibilities
* Patrol station platforms, concourses, and surrounding areas
* Monitor CCTV and respond to incidents
* Assist with crowd management and passenger queries
* Perform bag checks and access control when required
* Work closely with British Transport Police and station staff
* Write clear and concise incident reports
Requirements
* Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence
* Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
* Must be physically fit and able to work on foot for extended periods
* A calm and professional manner under pressure
* Previous experience in a transport or high-footfall environment is preferred
Desirable
* CCTV Licence (bonus but not essential)
* Experience working in public transport or busy urban location
