Position Overview:

As the Head of Governance and Assurance, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective implementation and adherence to governance frameworks, policies, and procedures related to the delivery of all service provisions across the account. This includes risk management, compliance, quality assurance, and human resources.

The Head of Governance and Assurance will be an ambassador and role model for quality within the account management team and will be responsible for the design, strategy and delivery of the quality management systems as well as being a culture architect driving continuous improvement, right first time, collaboration and pride in what we do.

Key Responsibilities:

Governance Framework:
* Develop, implement, and maintain a robust governance framework.
* Ensure the framework is fit-for-purpose and provides clear accountability and oversight.
* Periodically review and update the framework to ensure its effectiveness and relevance.

Risk Management:
* Work with all of account team to identify, assess, and effectively manage risks.
* Develop and implement risk management strategies and controls.
* Monitor and track the effectiveness of risk management activities.

Compliance:
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
* Develop and implement compliance programs and procedures.
* Monitor and track compliance with all relevant requirements.

Quality Assurance:
* Establish and maintain quality assurance procedures.
* Monitor and track the quality of services delivered to our customer, working alongside the account team to drive continuous improvement.
* Identify and implement improvements to quality assurance processes.

Policy and Procedure Development:
* Develop and maintain policies and procedures.
* Ensure that policies and procedures are clear, concise, and easily accessible
* Clearly communicate policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
* Communicate and be the main point of contact for all stakeholders on governance and assurance matters, actively addressing any concerns.

Reporting and Auditing:
* Prepare regular reports on governance and assurance activities.
* Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
* Implement corrective actions based on audit findings.

Training and Development:
* Provide training and development to team members on governance and assurance matters.
* Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends.
* Promote a culture of governance, assurance and quality across the account.
* Managing effective training and succession planning for a team of direct reports.
