Hull City Council is seeking an experienced Adult Social Worker to join their Learning Disabilities & Autism team. This Grade 9 role focuses on complex case management for adults with learning disabilities, autistic people, and those with multiple needs.

You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred support in line with the Care Act 2014, safeguarding legislation, and best practice standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake Care Act assessments and reviews for adults with complex needs.

Prepare court documents and Ministry of Justice submissions where required.

Manage a diverse and challenging caseload, ensuring timely and effective interventions.

Work closely with individuals, families, and partner agencies to promote independence and wellbeing.

Contribute to safeguarding processes and risk management planning.

About You:

Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.

Experience in adult social care, particularly learning disabilities and autism.

Skilled in producing formal documentation for legal processes.

Able to work independently and manage a varied, complex caseload.

Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
