Are you an experienced FM professional ready to lead a large-scale operation in a high-demand environment? We're working with a national facilities management provider to recruit a Contract Manager overseeing a flagship manufacturing site in Ellesmere Port.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and established FM business, offering long-term career development, strategic oversight, and a key leadership role within a critical account.

The Role

As Contract Manager, you'll take full ownership of operational delivery and commercial performance for this site-based contract. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the client's key contact and trusted partner
  • Leading a team of engineers and subcontractors, ensuring top-tier service delivery
  • Driving performance across KPIs, CPIs, and compliance metrics
  • Supporting succession planning and team development
  • Identifying opportunities for contract growth and service optimisation
  • Managing operational budgets, MI reporting, and audit preparation
  • Ensuring full legal and statutory compliance (including H&S and CDM)
  • Running strategic and operational meetings internally and with the client

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a hands-on leader with technical expertise and operational FM experience in a complex environment.

You'll need to have:

  • A proven track record in Facilities or Operations Management
  • Experience managing large teams and subcontractor performance
  • High-voltage systems knowledge (essential)
  • Fire systems experience (essential)
  • Prior experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment (essential)
  • IOSH (minimum) and a solid understanding of CDM regulations
  • Financial acumen - able to manage budgets and reporting
  • Minimum of City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or HVAC
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and IT systems
