Leicestershire County Council is seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult Mental Health / Section 117 Review Team. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and office-based working, while making a real difference in the lives of individuals living with mental health conditions.

You will work within a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment to carry out S117 reviews, ensure care plans are up to date, and contribute to effective care coordination in line with statutory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake S117 aftercare reviews for adults with mental health needs

Complete assessments and care planning in line with the Care Act 2014

Work closely with health professionals, service users, and families

Maintain accurate and timely case records

Safeguard vulnerable adults in accordance with legislation and policy

Requirements

Social Work England registration

Experience within Adult Mental Health services

Knowledge of S117 aftercare and related legislation

Strong assessment, planning, and communication skills

Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
