Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council is seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapy Team Manager to lead our paediatric occupational therapy service. This is an exciting leadership opportunity where you will guide a dedicated team, drive service improvements, and make a genuine impact in the lives of children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of occupational therapists and support staff

Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services

Drive innovative programmes to enhance service delivery and outcomes

Foster strong relationships with families, healthcare providers, and community organisations

Ensure services meet and exceed professional and regulatory standards

Requirements

HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist

Experience in paediatrics, including assessments and equipment reviews

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and organisational abilities
