Semi Senior Accountant

Salary £29,000 - £33,000

Role Requirements -

• Completion of VAT returns.
• Preparation of accounts for owner managed Limited Companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships ready for manager review.
• Preparation of personal Tax computations.
• On-site work at clients premises to include Management Accounts and ad-hoc bookkeeping.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills required.
• Sound experience in Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and Iris Accountancy Suite desirable.
• Liaising and supporting clients to resolve day to day queries.

Person Responsibilities -

• Practice experience required.
• AAT or studying towards ACCA qualification but also QBE considered.
• Strong communicator both verbally and written.
• A self-motivated and commercially focused individual.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team and prioritise workload in conjunction with filing and business deadlines.
• Attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• The successful candidate should have their own UK driving licence and vehicle.
