We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Security Engineer to join our IT Security Team, which is part of IT Infrastructure and Services here at Voyage Care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience at an engineering level, with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Network Infrastructure and Endpoint security., * At least 5 years of experience in IT security engineering or a related field. * Proven experience with Microsoft 365 security configurations. * Experience in configuring Microsoft Conditional Access rules. * Strong knowledge of network infrastructure security, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation. * In-depth understanding of Microsoft Azure security features and best practices, including (but not limited to): + Azure Security Centre + Azure Policy + Azure Entra ID and identity management + Azure Key Vault + Azure Networking security features (NSGs, ASGs, DDoS Protection, etc.) * Security information and event management (SIEM), preferably using the Exabeam platform * Knowledge of security hardening Microsoft servers within Azure * Compliance and regulatory standards for Azure environments * Hands-on experience configuring Endpoint security using Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Defender XDR. * Coding and Scripting: The ability to author and write scripted solutions to automate processes, improve operating efficiency and remediate issues using PowerShell, KQL and Python, etc. *, * Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AZ-500 are highly desirable. * Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.Essential Personal Attributes * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Strong communication and teamwork abilities. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
