Finance Business Partner
Ref: 6c16281dd6d54356925b3b3a834b84edAs the most senior finance contact for the directorate, you'll lead a dedicated finance business partnering service. You'll provide rigorous financial analysis, scenario planning, and strategic insight to support decision-making across a range of complex programmes. Your input will influence policy, investment, and delivery decisions across the transport portfolio.
You'll collaborate closely with the Directorate Management Team, supporting budget setting, business case development, and performance analysis, while acting as the bridge between operational leads and the central finance function.

We're looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Finance Business Partner to lead the financial planning and advisory service for a high-profile transport directorate within a major public sector organisation., We're looking for someone with: * Significant experience in financial leadership within the public sector (local government or transport experience is a bonus) * A strong commercial mindset, with the ability to link operational delivery to financial strategy * Excellent communication and stakeholder skills - you'll be advising directors and presenting to senior boards * A recognised CCAB qualification (or equivalent QBE experience) You'll thrive in a fast-moving environment where your ability to see the bigger picture and bring clarity to complexity will make a real difference.
