At JCA, we're seeking a driven and commercially astute Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of a portfolio of contracts-ensuring services are delivered cost-effectively, compliantly, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Take full financial and commercial responsibility for your contracts portfolio
* Support delivery teams with monthly valuations, cost forecasting, applications, and variations
* Ensure contracts are administered in line with legal frameworks and timelines
* Monitor and report on project costs, sales, gross profit, and commercial risks
* Develop strong client relationships to drive repeat business and contract retention
* Identify new revenue streams and contribute to strategic business growth
* Maintain accurate commercial data, records, and reports
* Manage and develop supply chain relationships and sub-contractor performance
* Prepare and manage all aspects of tenders and contract documentation
* Lead or support quantity surveying teams where applicable
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with a keen commercial mindset and strong industry knowledge who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or Engineering
* Professional certification (e.g. MRICS) preferred
* Proven commercial leadership experience in construction or engineering
* Strong understanding of construction contracts and risk management
* Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, Document Management Systems, and tools such as Asta Powerproject or Anaplan
* Familiarity with SME environments and broad business operations
* CSCS Card holder
* Valid UK Driving Licence
