Small Works Manager

We are recruiting for a Small Works Manager to oversee the delivery of a variety of billable works across multiple disciplines. This role is part of a wider projects team and involves managing the day-to-day execution of small works, ensuring compliance, quality, and value for money.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves managing the full lifecycle of small works projects, from contractor appointment to completion, while ensuring compliance and effective stakeholder communication.
* Manage and deliver small works in line with contractual and governance requirements.
* Oversee programme delivery, budget control, and reporting.
* Ensure health and safety compliance, including risk assessments and documentation.
* Identify opportunities for improved methods and materials to enhance commercial outcomes.
Experience and Skills
We are looking for someone with practical experience in delivering small works and a strong understanding of facilities management environments.
* Experience delivering small works or minor projects, independently and as part of a team.
* Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and Maximo
* Ability to manage multiple concurrent works and meet deadlines with accuracy.
* Familiarity with Facilities Management environments (essential).
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications and security clearance are required or expected to be obtained.
* Project Management or Construction Management qualification (desirable).
Personal Attributes
The ideal candidate will be organised, calm under pressure, and able to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Practical problem-solving approach and outcome-focused mindset.
