Security Officer - Mitie at City of Coventry Health Centre

Location: 2 Stoney Stanton Road, Coventry, CV1 4FS
Shift Pattern: 4 consecutive shifts on / 4 days off
Hours: 19:00 - 00:00 (5-hour evening shift)
Rate: £12.60 per hour
About the Role

Join Mitie as a dedicated Security Officer, delivering a professional and visible presence during the evening period. You'll work a rotating 4-on/4-off schedule, covering 19:00-00:00, to protect people, property and assets in line with Assignment Instructions provided for City of Coventry Health Centre.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform access control and patrol duties at the health centre
* Monitor CCTV and scanners, responding appropriately
* Maintain logs and write accurate incident reports
* Report any safety hazards or suspicious activity promptly
* Liaise with the Mitie Security Account Manager and NHS site staff as needed
* Ensure all duties comply with site policies and UK legal standards Mitie Careers
Essential Requirements
* Valid SIA licence (Security Guard or CCTV PSS)
* Previous security experience, especially in healthcare or public-facing settings preferred
* High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and reliability
* Ability to work independently while staying alert during evening hours
