Finance Assistant

* We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our fast-paced team to support with Purchase Order and Invoice Query Resolution, across one of our Government Contracts
* To accurately follow internal GRN procedures in order to process a high volume of invoices to ensure workflow volumes are kept to a minimum
* To support with ad-hoc Administration Duties for a UK wide contract
* To resolve queries and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
* To maintain Supplier relationships and support with all Purchase Order and Invoice Queries to ensure effective resolution
Your Role
* Support managing a shared mailbox, responding to Internal and External Queries, effectively following escalation procedures and communicating in an extremely professional manner
* Provide effective analysis of Data between systems to ensure continuity
* Ensure System Comments and Status are kept up to date
* Provide support and reporting to the Contract Teams and Line Manager as required
* Maintain professional dialogue with suppliers keeping them informed of what is required to facilitate smooth running of their Accounts
* Work closely with fellow colleagues and ensure continuous service to all internal clients
* Covering other members of the team for holidays and unplanned absences
* Run cyclical and ad-hoc reports from the Coupa System
Skills & Experience
* Good knowledge of Facilities Management preferrable but not necessary
* Good knowledge of Supply Chain Management
* Excellent written and verbal Communication skills
* Good knowledge of MS Excel, experience using VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables preferred but not essential
* Good Knowledge of other Microsoft Packages including MS Outlook
* Demonstrable experience of using Coupa and Maximo preferred but not essential
* Good analytical knowledge and attention to detail is key
* An ability to evaluate, identify root cause, draw conclusion, and effectively communicate 'problem cause and remedy'

* An ability to deliver high standards of work consistently
* Proficient in learning and understanding new Systems and Software quickly
* Willingness to investigate problems and identify solutions
* Excellent organisational skills and pro-active approach to learning
