Duties may include:
* Draft, review, and negotiate Contracts
* Experience in property litigation including dealing with landlord and tenant disputes, forfeiture claims, trespass/encroachment claims, and dilapidations
* Manage Civil Litigation cases at all stages of Pre-Litigation/Litigation
* Ensure compliance with the Civil Litigation Pre-Action Protocol
* Ensure compliance with GDPR by overseeing data protection policies and practices
* Represent the Council in Court and conduct advocacy where appropriate in mainly remote hearings with some Court attendance required
We are seeking an experienced professional with a solid background in Civil Litigation Law, ideally gained within a Local Authority or Private Practice background. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, with a particular advantage for those bringing knowledge of Property Litigation.
