Project Support Officer
Ref: e9d835880c6e4887aea79f22afb55519* Provide cross-programme support across a portfolio of projects, ensuring consistency in processes, documentation, and reporting standards
* Assist the Programme Manager with the coordination of day-to-day project activities, ensuring timelines, resources, and deliverables are clearly tracked and managed
* Maintain and update project documentation, such as implementation plans, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), action trackers, and status reports to support effective governance
* Coordinate stakeholder engagement, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, circulating minutes, and following up on actions to ensure alignment and accountability
* Support internal and external communications, helping to prepare presentations, newsletters, or briefing materials to keep stakeholders informed and engaged
* Monitor and report on project progress, flagging any risks or issues early and working with the Programme Manager to keep initiatives on track
* Proven experience in a Project Support Officer, Project Coordinator, or PMO role within a complex environment * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to changing demands * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally * Proficiency with project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, or equivalent * Experience working within local government or the wider public sector is highly desirable, especially in programmes focused on health, social care, or community outcomes If you have the relevant experience and are looking to make a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you - please apply today!
