Sales Ledger / Finance Assistant - Long Term FTC
Ref: MKSL_1754566365Butler Rose is delighted to be supporting a valued client based in Buckingham as they look to recruit a Sales Ledger / Finance Assistant to join their supportive and friendly team. This is a long-term FTC position until December 2026 (minimum) offering variety, purpose, and the opportunity to really make a difference.
Working in a unique environment, this role goes beyond a typical credit control position - you'll be supporting individuals with queries relating to their accounts ensuring accuracy, empathy, and professionalism in every interaction.
Main Duties:
- Be the first point of contact customers regarding invoices, payments, and funding
- Raise and manage invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Process and allocate incoming payments
- Investigate and resolve queries with sensitivity and attention to detail
- Liaise with internal teams to keep records up to date
- Reconcile incoming payments and disbursements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in sales ledger, credit control, or finance administration
- Great communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Strong Excel and general IT skills
- A detail-orientated mindset and the ability to solve problems independently
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
