Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with a forward-thinking consultancy? My client is seeking a talented individual to join a dynamic team working on a wide range of exciting and prestigious building projects across the UK and internationally.

About the Role:

As an Electrical Design Engineer within the Building Services team, you will play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable electrical solutions across a diverse portfolio that includes:

* Commercial offices
* Luxury hotels
* Public sector buildings
* Retail environments
* High-end residential
* Smart cities & masterplans
* Sports & leisure facilities
* Cultural landmarks

This role offers the opportunity to contribute at all stages of the design process, from concept through to detailed design and construction support. Youll be working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that values creativity, precision, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design of low voltage distribution, small power, lighting, fire alarms, and security systems
* Produce detailed engineering calculations and technical drawings
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including architects, clients, and contractors
* Attend site visits and client meetings
* Ensure designs comply with current regulations and best practices
* Support junior team members and contribute to technical development

What My Client Is Looking For:

* A degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
* 3+ years' experience in building services design
* Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Amtech)
* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and design standards
* Excellent communication and coordination skills
* Chartership (or working towards) with CIBSE or IET is a plus
