I am currently sourcing a bathroom fitter to join a well-established social housing contractor situated out of Welwyn Garden City.

Position: Bathroom Fitter Location: Welwyn Garden City , United Kingdom, Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 Hours per week. Start Date: ASAP Contract: Temporary to permanent

About them: My client are a reputable social housing contractor dedicated to providing quality housing solutions to residents in Hertfordshire. As part of their commitment to maintaining safe and comfortable homes for our tenants, we are looking for a skilled and experienced bathroom Fitter to join their team.

Pay Rate: Market leading pay

Full bathroom refurb: £850

WC refurb: £425

Hourly rate (Ad hoc): £21

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and renovate bathrooms in accordance with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Ensure that work is completed to high-quality standards and within agreed upon time frames.
• Conduct assessments and inspections to identify any issues or additional work required.
• Carry out additional trades for an all round bathroom re-fit including minor flooring, minor plastering etc.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Bathroom Fitter is essential, with a demonstrated portfolio of completed projects.
• Own a valid driving license as a company van will be supplied
• Possess a comprehensive set of tools required for bathroom installations.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Good communication skills to liaise with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction.
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
