We're looking for a Sales Manager to lead and develop our commercial activity in the northern region of the UK, covering areas above Birmingham, with a particular focus on the dairy sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity to represent KW, a well-respected name within the industry, known for providing innovative and effective feed solutions for ruminants.
In this role, you'll drive sales of our ruminant feed range alongside wider agricultural products, working closely with customers to support their businesses and build long-term relationships. You'll play a key part in growing KW's presence and ensuring our customers across the northern region continue to benefit from our trusted, high-performance nutritional solutions.
What you'll be doing
+ Lead and manage a team of five to six sales specialists within your designated region, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to drive sales effectiveness and team capability.
+ Oversee pipeline management, ensuring sales opportunities are progressed efficiently and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
+ Collaborate closely with consultant leads to coordinate customer engagement, deciding the best approach for each account based on relationship strength, growth potential, and sales strategy.
+ Maintain and grow your own portfolio of high-value customers, focusing on selling high-margin, performance products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
+ Conduct regular farm visits to provide product advice and support to dairy farmers, reinforcing strong customer relationships and understanding of their evolving requirements.
Package includes Salary from £60,000, plus a benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and reward your impact, including discretionary performance related bonus, car allowance, private healthcare, and a matched pension contribution of up to 10%.
+ Experience or knowledge of animal feed sales and livestock nutrition, with proven credibility and understanding of the dairy industry. + Proven experience in field sales, ideally with at least two to three years in a regional sales role that includes managing a team and regular travel to customer sites. + Strong background in business-to-business sales, with the ability to manage a sales pipeline, develop strategic sales plans, and build lasting customer relationships. + Demonstrated people management skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop a small team of sales specialists to achieve shared goals.
