Knowsley Council is seeking a skilled and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Front Door Team - the first point of contact for adults accessing social care services.

This vital service acts as the hub of initial triage, advice, and decision-making. You will be part of a fast-paced, supportive team that focuses on safeguarding, strengths-based assessments, and effective signposting.

Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for adult social care referrals

Undertake strength-based conversations and proportionate assessments

Apply eligibility criteria (Care Act 2014) and respond to urgent safeguarding concerns

Collaborate with health and community partners to ensure timely support

Maintain accurate and timely case records using Liquidlogic (LAS)

Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)

Social Work England Registration

Minimum of 2 years' post-qualifying experience in adult services (preferably in a front door or triage setting)

Working knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding procedures

Strong communication, decision-making, and risk assessment skills

Experience using Liquidlogic is highly desirable
