Job Overview
* To assist the M&E Engineering team to carry out technical and other practical tasks, covering a designated area but required to be a peripatetic between several other works locations. To also take responsibility and ownership if completion of teaks in order to achieve contract KPI's. In addition continually provide service excellence in line with Mitie core values

Main Duties
* Maintain Compliance & Records: Log statutory requirements, keep records updated and generate reports for escalations
* Respond to Service Requests: Act as first-line responder , aiming for first-time fixes and safe isolations per guidelines
* Perform Maintenance task: Conduct PPM, fault logging and technical checks on plant equipment and systems
* Handle Electrical Work: Test appliances (PAT) replace lighting components, and test emergency systems like alarms and lighting
* Carry Out Miner Repairs: Fix leaks, unblock drains, adjust doors and perform basic plumbing and carpentry tasks
* Support Building Operations: Assemble furniture, put up fixtures, and assist with Office moves
* Ensure Health and Safety: Conduct risk assessments, enforce safety compliance assist with evacuations

What we are looking for
* Extensive experience within Facilities Management as a caretaker, maintenance / engineer assistant or equivalent
* Strong knowledge of PPM's remedial and reactive works
* A proven understanding of Health and Safety Compliance
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
* Ability to liaise and negotiate to all levels within the business
