Your Key Responsibilities
* Prosecute housing, planning, licensing, and environmental offences.
* Represent the councils at court, licensing panels, and tribunals.
* Manage civil litigation including debt recovery, liability orders, and claims.
* Draft legal documents including summonses, charges, and statements.
* Advise on enforcement strategy, evidence gathering, and legal process.
Hybrid Working: Freedom to work remotely and flexibly, with strong IT and admin support Annualised Hours: Average 37 hours/week, but full control over how you manage your time Leave: 25 days (rising to 30) + bank holidays + Christmas closure Growth & Development: Opportunity to broaden your practice Secure Pension: Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)
A qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive At least two years' experience in criminal and/or civil litigation Confident courtroom advocacy and excellent drafting skills Strong time management and case progression abilities A calm, collaborative mindset with a focus on public service
