Job Title: Forensic Social Worker / AMHP

Rate: £37.68 per hour

Description:
Hillingdon is seeking a qualified and experienced Forensic Social Worker / AMHP to join their service working with mentally disordered offenders. This role includes participation in the AMHP rota.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialist forensic social work input for individuals with mental disorders involved in the criminal justice system

Undertake Mental Health Act assessments as part of the AMHP rota

Work closely with multi-agency teams including health, probation, and criminal justice services

Prepare reports and attend court or tribunal hearings as required

Requirements:

Social Work England registration

Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification

Previous forensic or criminal justice experience preferred
