Eden Brown Synergy is currently working with Suffolk County Council, who are seeking an experienced Consultant Social Worker to join their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) based in Ipswich.

Role: Consultant Social Worker - MASH (Experienced)
Location: Landmark House, Ipswich
Rate: £38ph - £42ph (Umbrella), depending on experience
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week office based

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Gathering and analysing information following social care referrals
* Assessing risk and making decisions in line with Suffolk Thresholds Document
* Supporting timely safeguarding responses in a multi-agency setting
* Working collaboratively with police, health, and education professionals
* Providing expert advice and screening support to colleagues in MASH

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* MASH experience is essential
* Thorough understanding of safeguarding thresholds and decision-making
* Strong communication and inter-agency liaison skills
