* Commercial and Contractual Liaison: Liaise with the client on all commercial and contractual matters.
* Commercial Processes: Ensure that all commercial processes for the contract are fit for purpose and operate efficiently. Adhering with Ringway's policies, procedures and standard ways of working.
* Team Management and Development: Manage the performance and development of the commercial team. Be responsible for all commercial functions and actively inspire positive staff morale.
* Processes, Tools, and Governance: Ensure robust processes, tools, and governance arrangements are in place to enable consistent and compliant commercial performance.
* Contract Management: Ensure robust and manageable contracts are in place with supply chain partners.
* Work Estimates: Manage and lead the team in developing works estimates.
* Sub-Contractor Instructions: Ensure all sub-contractor instructions are clear and accurate. Ensure that sub-contracts are in place for all supply chain partners who are sub-contractors.
* Final Accounting Support: Support the team in final accounting with the employer and supply chain partners.
* Commercial Information: Provide timely and accurate commercial information to support periodic employer and monthly business cycle management.
* Commercial Management and Reporting: Ensure that all commercial management and reporting is correctly implemented and complied with in conjunction with operational and contract managers.
* Budget Monitoring: Monitor budgets and ensure budget certainty. Lead challenges to operational teams on their monthly results.
* Tender Structure and Strategy: Understand and apply the structure and strategy behind the tender.
* Early Warnings and Compensation Events: Identify and notify core Early Warnings and Compensation Events. Lead on the maintenance e of the Early Warning Register and Compensation Event Log.
* Risk and Opportunity Register: Support the Divisional Manager in developing and maintaining the contract Risk and Opportunity Register.
* Management Reports: Produce management reports for SMT meetings.
* Full UK Driving Licence * Experience of highways maintenance or a related field * Experience managing overall Contract performance * Previous team leadership / management experience * Constructively engage with people from all levels of Ringway and the winder Vinci UK business to improve the management of the contract
