Supply Finance Manager - Maturation
Ref: d1c8f10b452b4a3cb22b0039a19c27f7This role plays a critical part in shaping and improving the financial performance of Scotch Maturation by identifying insights and opportunities to help drive cost performance. The role is a key business partnering role to the Maturation leadership team., The role's primary responsibilities relate to understanding the drivers of Maturation cost, generating insight and identifying efficiency opportunities to reduce cost., * Lead financial analysis across the Maturation footprint, identifying improvement opportunities and mitigation strategies.
* Support Capex investment decisions - cost/benefit and NPV models to support the right investment choices.
* Provides advice and guidance as well as ensuring appropriate financial governance and controls are in place., * Lead productivity reviews with Performance Improvement Leads to identify and quantify new efficiency ideas and how to unlock/deliver cost savings.
* Provide recommendations to reduce cost, particularly through end-to-end supply chain opportunities.
* Supervise and report on critical metrics related to Maturation activities.
* Support the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including key inputs and lead reviews with budget owners., * Win through Execution. Flexible, agile & resilient, adapting plans in the face of change. Track record of execution in a business undergoing transformation. Always scanning opportunities to simplify.

Someone with drive to be the best, but at the same time is a very good team player and leads by example. * Graduate or equivalent qualification and member of professional body - Accounting or finance qualification desirable (ACA/ICAS/CIMA/MBA), with post qualification experience in a manufacturing or supply chain finance environment. * Strong analytical / financial discernment, including an understanding of organisational financial goals, value drivers and with a track record of driving performance improvements. * High level of experience in data analysis, financial planning, modelling (excel) and reporting i.e. turning complex data into strategic insights. * Excellent partner management and communication skills: verbal, written and presentation.
