At Clarks Village, we are offering a position to the right candidate, to join our security officer team. You will work both day and night shifts on a 42hr per week contract. Main responsibilities

The main say to day responsibilities of this role includes but are not limited to:
* Working to strict Health and Safety procedures and legislation
* Upholding and complying with site AI's, UK legislation and Regulations
* Providing excellent customer service to Client, visitors, guests and contractors
* Good representation of oneself, keeping high levels of hygiene and presentation.
* Completing effective and efficient handovers when starting and ending shifts.
* Locking and unlocking the centre.
* Regular patrols following use of CAFM systems
* Good understanding and mandatory use of reporting equipment e.g. pocket notebooks, BWCs, key handling, radio use etc.
* Evacuation marshal responsibilities
* Relationship building and assisting with brand partners with crime stopping procedures
* Building good professional relationships with local police and PCSOs
* Responsibility of diffusing anti-social behaviour on centre premises
* Providing first aid on site where necessary

Skills and experience

The following skills and experience are preferred but not mandatory:
* SIA Door Supervisor accreditation (CCTV desirable)
* IOSH trained
* Good articulation, the ability to communicate effectively with clients, guests and contractors
* The ability to demonstrate high levels of customer service and satisfaction
* Excellent time management and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
* Clean enhanced DBS record

To be successful in this role you will need the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous security experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
