About Us:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Wireman/Fitter to join our team, working on NGED substations mainly within the NGED region. As a NGED authorised Wireman/Fitter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out wiring, fitting, and earthing works on NGED substations
* Hold and manage Permit to Work (PTW) and Limitation of Access (LOA) systems
* Work safely and efficiently, adhering to NGED policies and procedures
* Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
* Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements:
* NGED authorisation as a Wireman/Fitter
* Valid PTW and LOA certification
* Proven experience working on electrical substations
* Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, fitting, and earthing practices
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities

Desirable Qualifications:
* City & Guilds 2360 or equivalent electrical qualification
* SSSTS (Site Safety Training Scheme) certification
* IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) certification
* Telehandler operator training certification
* First Aid at Work certification
