Job Title: Social Worker - Adult Social Care
Location: Countywide - Buckinghamshire
Pay Rate: Dependent on Level of Experience
Grade: 6
Service Area: Adult Social Care
Reporting to: Team Manager

Overview:
Buckinghamshire Council is seeking experienced and motivated Qualified Social Workers to join its Adult Social Care team. This role offers the opportunity to support individuals across the county, helping them to achieve greater independence and improved quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake complex assessments and develop care plans tailored to individuals needs.

Ensure delivery of a suitable range of services within a set budget.

Manage and monitor care packages, making adjustments where necessary.

Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and multi-agency partners.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.

May supervise and support junior staff within the team.

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with current registration (e.g. Social Work England).

Strong assessment and care planning skills.

Knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures, and adult social care frameworks.

Ability to manage caseloads independently and effectively.

Previous experience working in adult social care is essential.

Additional Information:

Roles are available countywide and may involve travel within Buckinghamshire.
