A well-established Stamford tax team is seeking a technically strong and client-focused Tax Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified CTA, ACA or ACCA professional to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients and further develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The role offers a blend of personal tax compliance and advisory work, with exposure to high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners, wealthy families, trusts and estates. The practice values delivering excellent client service and encourages ongoing professional development and business growth.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied portfolio of clients including high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, family clients, trusts and estates.
  • Deliver personal tax compliance services, including self-assessment and trust tax returns.
  • Provide tax advisory support tailored to complex client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships through clear communication and proactive service.
  • Lead, mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities to grow the client base.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider tax team to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Personal Requirements

  • Fully qualified CTA, ACA or ACCA.
  • Significant experience (minimum 3-5 years) working in a UK tax environment, preferably within personal tax compliance and advisory.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax, trusts and estates.
  • Comfortable managing relationships with high net worth and complex clients.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Professional, proactive and client-focused approach.
