A growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in London is looking for an experienced Audit Manager or Senior Manager to join its well-established audit team. This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious and technically strong individual with aspirations to progress towards Responsible Individual (RI) status.

Role Responsibilities
Leading and reviewing audit engagements from planning through to completion.
Managing relationships with a portfolio of audit clients across various sectors.
Ensuring high standards of compliance, audit quality and professional scepticism across all jobs.
Supervising and mentoring junior team members, including performance reviews and objective-setting.
Collaborating with partners on business development, including pitching for new work and preparing proposals.
Playing a key role in department-wide initiatives, training sessions and technical updates.
Supporting and contributing to firm-wide projects to drive growth and continuous improvement.
Working with the compliance team to uphold regulatory and internal audit quality standards.
Personal Requirements
ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with at least 5 years' post-qualified experience in UK audit practice.
Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards, compliance requirements and ethical codes.
Demonstrated ability to manage audit teams and deliver projects to deadline and budget.
Confident communicator, capable of managing client expectations and engaging in technical discussions.
Experience of coaching, mentoring or training team members.
Commercially aware with a mindset for growth and client relationship building.
Organised, detail-oriented and proactive in identifying improvements.
A desire to progress to RI status within a supportive environment.
