Surrey - IRO - Weybridge
Ref: 3434452029_1753971354Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) - Child Protection Chair to join Surrey County Council at their Weybridge office (KT13 0YP).
Role Overview:
* Chairing Child Protection Conferences and Looked After Children Reviews
* Overseeing care planning and ensuring statutory requirements are met
* Providing critical challenge to ensure effective safeguarding and outcomes for children
* Ensuring childrens voices are heard and included in their plans
* Working collaboratively with social workers, managers, and external agencies to promote best practice
* Monitoring progress of cases and escalating concerns as necessary
* Ensuring plans are robust, outcome-focused, and in line with statutory guidance
Requirements:
* Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
* Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in child protection/social work
* Previous IRO or CP Chairing experience is essential
* Strong knowledge of statutory responsibilities, safeguarding, and best practice
Pay Rate:
* £45.00 per hour (Umbrella)
