An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Darlington's Front Door Team as a Social Worker.

Working within the Children's Initial Advice Team (CIAT), you will play a pivotal role in delivering the right support at the right time, ensuring families receive timely access to early help, family support, or social care intervention.

About the Role:

• Non-case holding position - fast-paced and dynamic

• Manage incoming contacts from professionals and the public

• Make decisions through relationship-based practice

• Be part of a multi-agency front door alongside early help, police, health, education, and more

• Support the nationally recognised model inspired by Professor David Thorpe's approach

• Join a strong and committed team with an excellent working environment

Essential Requirements:

• Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent

• At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services

• Social Work England Registration

• Driving license and access to own vehicle
