Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Family Safeguarding Team with Surrey County Council, based in Guildford (GU2 4BB).

Key Responsibilities:
* Working with children and families under Child in Need and Child Protection plans
* Undertaking assessments, including Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries
* Creating SMART plans to support positive outcomes for children and families
* Court work and report writing as required
* Using the Family Safeguarding model and multi-disciplinary approach to reduce risk and support change
* Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to safeguard children
* Maintaining accurate and timely case notes in line with statutory requirements

Requirements:
* Social Work England registration
* Qualified Social Worker with at least 2-3 years' experience in frontline childrens services
* Solid understanding of child protection, safeguarding processes, and legal frameworks
* Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency setting

Working Arrangement:
* Hybrid working available

Pay Rate:
* £42.00 per hour (Umbrella)
