GC Analyst - Fragrance Innovation - Brighton

We're seeking a driven and detail-oriented Analytical Chemist with hands-on GC (Gas Chromatography) experience to support ongoing R&D and quality initiatives. Ideal for professionals with a background in fragrance, flavours, cosmetics, or related sectors.

What you'll do:

  • Operate and maintain GC instrumentation to analyze complex fragrance compositions

  • Support development and troubleshooting projects across innovation and production

  • Interpret data, create detailed reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Contribute to method development and continuous process improvement

What we're looking for:

  • Solid experience with GC techniques - method development, validation, or routine use

  • Industry background in fragrance, flavour, cosmetics, or FMCG (or a clear interest in moving into this space)

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

  • A science-based degree (Chemistry, Analytical Science, or similar)
